This is a music download website for independent and unsigned bands, and the people who enjoy their music. Every record is available for download at the same price: $3.50.

Each record is encoded in 245 kbps, VO, MP3 format. This is hi-fi for a MP3, and will sound good on a stereo as well as on an ipod. A high-resolution PDF of the cover art is included with the songs in the download. I believe cover art is significant and helps communicate what the artist is saying musically. When you download from Pig Zen Space you get a hi-res PDF of the cover art, sized and outlined for you to cut out for a CD-jacket.

This website is designed to be a lean machine. It has one employee: me. The idea is to charge as small a price as is reasonable for a music file, and to give almost all of it to the bands.
